Spirit Hearts Duluth

Spirit Mountain Recreation Area will offer residents of Duluth $5 tickets, $5 rentals, $5 nordic, and $5 tubing on Wednesday, February 24, and Sunday, February 28, for Spirit Hearts Duluth Days.

The deeply discounted special rates will demonstrate Spirit’s appreciation for the Duluth’s support in re-opening last fall and welcome all residents of Duluth a chance to experience the winter fun. In addition, free beginner lessons will be offered and encouraged to ensure less experienced skiers/boarders can enjoy themselves safely.

To minimize crowding and comply with other safety requirements:

  • Residents must make on-line reservations for all products including tubing, lift tickets, rentals, and nordic passes at spiritmt.com. Electronic waivers must be signed for separate product purchased; tubing, tickets and rentals.
  • Reservations are time-specific and a late arrival will result in forfeiting the ticket.
  • Guests must follow all COVID safety guidelines, including wearing masks in lift lines and while indoors and practicing social distancing in the chalet at all times.

COVID-related crowd control requires limiting the number of tickets available; time slots will be made available in a time-released manner to help ensure all residents have equal access.

Residents will be required to show a valid I.D. that demonstrates their residence in the City of Duluth when picking up these discounted tickets.

The Duluth-only discounts are:

  • Tickets: $5
  • Rentals: $5
  • Tubing: $5 for one hour, Wednesday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to noon.
  • Nordic day pass: $5
  • Ski or board beginner lessons: Free
